Pennsylvania Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Working from home on a part-time basis, the Pennsylvania Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage medication delivery and inventory management while providing patient and provider support through effective communication.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient/provider/customer care and participate in related activities
- Utilize the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care and maintain pharmacy records
- Prepare and label medications for distribution and perform inventory management for medications and supplies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB or NHA)
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Intern with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
- Computer literacy and familiarity with the healthcare regulatory environment
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical names and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
