Pennsylvania Licensed Producer

Job Summary

To support its Life Sciences practice, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Producer will generate new business, manage existing accounts, and build relationships with clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the life sciences sector, preparing proposals and presentations for complex coverage needs
• Maintain and grow an assigned book of life sciences business, coordinating with account executives and underwriters to service client accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners and industry contacts, representing the company at relevant events and staying current on market trends

Required qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty producer license in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it
• Demonstrated track record of new business production in the life sciences or related specialty insurance segment
• Established network of referral sources and/or carrier relationships within the life sciences industry
• Strong working knowledge of relevant coverage lines, including product liability and clinical trials liability
• Professional designations (CIC, CPCU, CRM, or equivalent) preferred but not required
