Job Summary
Handling complex litigation matters, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Senior Associate Attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution, delivering strategic legal counsel and representing clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Key responsibilities
- Defend and advocate for clients in various litigation matters, including General Liability and Commercial Litigation
- Conduct extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions while managing deadlines and assignments independently
Required qualifications
- 4 - 7 years of experience in Civil Litigation, particularly in insurance defense and general liability
- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
- Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; admission in other states is a plus
- Demonstrated courtroom experience and a desire to grow as a trial/litigation attorney
- Strong analytical skills and ability to self-manage in a team environment
