Job Summary

To support underwriting team performance, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Underwriting Leader will underwrite new and renewal business, manage workflow through the underwriting lifecycle, and mentor less experienced underwriters in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business by evaluating risk, determining terms, and making decisions within delegated authority
• Manage underwriting workflow, including submissions, binding, policy servicing, and documentation in accordance with standards
• Provide leadership and coordination across underwriting teams, ensuring alignment and adherence to policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant insurance designation preferred
• Experience in underwriting, including multi-line or specialty insurance products
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and contribute to underwriting performance outcomes
• Experience providing guidance or mentorship within a team environment preferred
• Appropriate state-specific insurance license required
