Pennsylvania Licensed Utilization Management Nurse

Job Summary

To support flexible healthcare needs, the Per Diem Utilization Management Nurse will efficiently review patient medical records, craft appeal letters, and ensure compliance with company policies while working remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Compose well-written appeal letters using extracted data and medical literature references while adhering to company policies and HIPAA requirements
• Collaborate with peers to ensure effective communication and execution of deliverables
• Maintain organization within the team and stay updated on learning modules and state-required licenses

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree
• Unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state of residence
• 3+ years of bedside nursing experience in ED/telemetry/ICU/CCU
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications and software
• Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
