Job Summary
Leading employee relations, leave, and accommodations processes, the full-time remote People and Culture Specialist will serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees, managing complex workplace concerns and ensuring compliance with multi-state employment laws.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the employee relations process, including issue assessment, investigations, and documentation
- Advise managers on performance, conduct, and workplace conflict, promoting coaching and development
- Oversee leave and accommodation matters, coordinating the interactive process and ensuring compliance with applicable laws
Required qualifications
- At least five years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Experience conducting employee relations reviews and advising on performance and workplace concerns
- Hands-on experience with leave and accommodation processes, including ADA and FMLA
- Knowledge of multi-state employment practices, particularly in California, Colorado, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Georgia
