People Operations Director

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time remote Founding Director of People will lead corporate recruiting, establish foundational HR processes, and partner with leadership to prioritize talent acquisition and development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate recruiting efforts, managing searches from role definition to closing
• Partner with leadership to evaluate talent and make informed hiring decisions
• Establish effective interview processes, recruiting tools, and HR policies

Required qualifications

• Proven track record of sourcing and closing strong corporate talent across various functions
• In-house experience at a startup or growing company with broader HR responsibilities
• High emotional intelligence and sound judgment for advising leadership
• Strong execution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience at a recruiting or executive-search firm followed by an in-house role is preferred
