People Operations Lead
Job Summary
To support a growing mission-driven organization, the full-time People Operations Lead will manage benefits, payroll, compliance, and performance cycles while enhancing the employee experience in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the management of vendors and ensure compliance with multi-state regulations through a PEO
- Lead the administration of HRIS and drive system implementations or migrations to improve HR processes
- Analyze and recommend improvements to people policies and benefits, contributing to strategic decisions regarding the People function
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations at a venture-backed tech company
- Hands-on ownership of benefits, HRIS, payroll, compliance, and performance cycles
- Experience managing People vendors and partners, with a track record of successful system implementations
- Proven ability to automate and enhance HR processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive conversations with tact and clarity
