Job Summary

Leading a remote engineering team, the full-time salaried Manager, People Systems Engineering will define the technical strategy and architecture for the People technology ecosystem, focusing on platforms like Workday, Docebo, and Greenhouse while driving improvements in employee technology and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and long-term architecture for the People technology ecosystem, ensuring integration and automation across platforms
• Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical ownership and continuous improvement
• Partner with the Product Manager to translate employee and business needs into product and technical strategies, shaping roadmaps and implementation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise application engineering, software engineering, or HR technology
• 2+ years of experience managing technical teams with a focus on developing both people and technical capabilities
• Strong hands-on technical understanding of Workday, including architecture, data model, and integrations
• Experience defining technical strategy or architecture beyond application delivery and configuration
