Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Performance & Resilience Test Engineer will evaluate the scalability and stability of mission-critical software by developing and executing various performance tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance, load, and resilience tests to validate system behavior under various conditions
- Analyze mission workflows and transaction volumes to create realistic workload models and define performance baselines
- Produce reproducible test results and provide evidence-based recommendations to support release readiness and operational resilience
Required qualifications
- An active Secret clearance or higher
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- At least six years of relevant professional experience in performance testing
- Experience designing and executing load and performance tests, as well as developing workload models
- Ability to document performance defects and collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve issues
