Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time remote Pet Claims Specialist will navigate complex veterinary records, communicate coverage determinations clearly, and document claims thoroughly while ensuring efficient resolution of pet insurance claims.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate complex veterinary records to determine claim eligibility and make coverage decisions
• Communicate coverage determinations in plain language to customers
• Organize and prioritize daily workload to resolve claims quickly while maintaining quality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of recent small animal vet tech experience; ER or specialty background preferred
• Prior pet claim handling or pet insurance experience, with existing P&C licensure strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain P&C licensure
• A college degree
• Comfort with new technology, including AI tools
