Job Summary
Leading the nonclinical safety strategy, the full-time salaried Pharma Toxicology Director will manage the toxicology organization, represent the company with regulatory authorities, and collaborate across departments to support product development and compliance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own the global nonclinical safety and toxicology strategy for pharmaceuticals and consumer goods
- Lead nonclinical due diligence for in-licensing and acquisition opportunities, advising on nonclinical risks
- Oversee the design and execution of nonclinical safety programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory submissions and market support
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. in Toxicology or related discipline
- 15+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in nonclinical safety/toxicology
- Demonstrated experience in setting nonclinical strategy and interacting with global health authorities
- Deep knowledge of global nonclinical regulatory requirements and GLP regulations
- Experience in ophthalmology drug development is highly desirable
