Pharmacy Analytics Consultant
Job Summary
Serving as a strategic pharmacy consultant, the full-time Assistant Vice President of Pharmacy Analytics will support employer clients in designing and optimizing pharmacy benefit programs, leading PBM procurement initiatives, and overseeing day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Analytics practice in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on pharmacy benefit strategy, plan design, and cost management opportunities
- Lead PBM market checks, procurement projects, and formal RFP processes
- Analyze PBM financial proposals and develop financial models to evaluate pharmacy program performance
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in pharmacy consulting, PBM account management, or related pharmacy benefit roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of PBM contracting, rebate programs, and specialty drug management
- Advanced skills in pharmacy financial modeling and analysis
- Thorough understanding of PBM data layouts and financial terms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client deliverables in a fast-paced environment
