Job Summary
Conducting pharmacy desk audits, the full-time Pharmacy Auditor I - State Licensed will review prescription claims and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assigned pharmacy desk audits to determine compliance and identify discrepancies or overpayments
- Review pharmacy records and accurately document audit findings, maintaining complete and timely audit documentation
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding audit status and findings while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulations
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and active state pharmacy technician license/registration where required
- 0-3 years of experience in pharmacy auditing or related field
- Knowledge of pharmacy audit requirements and relevant state and federal regulations
- Ability to maintain compliance with confidentiality and information security requirements
