Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the remote Pharmacy Operations Specialist will manage the medication fulfillment process, ensuring accurate processing of prescriptions, timely shipment coordination, and data entry while collaborating with pharmacy partners.
Key responsibilities
- Process new and refill prescription medications accurately using e-Prescribing software and internal tools
- Coordinate with internal and vendor partners to resolve issues and ensure timely medication shipments
- Investigate and resolve errors related to prescriptions and lab orders, maintaining quality control
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably in pharmacy or lab operations, or relevant college degree
- Familiarity with pharmacy and lab software applications and prescribing workflows
- Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements in the telemedicine environment
- Technically savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Strong organizational skills and a patient-centric approach to healthcare
