Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician
Job Summary
Supporting the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, the full-time remote Pharmacy Quality Assurance Technician will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of quality event documentation across pharmacy locations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely entry of all quality events in accordance with defined QAPI reporting timelines
- Review quality event submissions for proper classification, completeness, and adherence to defined QAPI standards
- Monitor and follow up on missing, delayed, or incomplete quality event entries
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior pharmacy technician or healthcare operations experience, minimum two (2) years
- Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or xCPT)
- Strong computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while effectively meeting deadlines
