Job Summary
Leading pharmacy initiatives for health plans, the full-time Pharmacy Services Director (PharmD) will oversee pharmacy programs, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize medication-related healthcare outcomes, all while working remotely within the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the designated pharmacy leader and subject matter expert for assigned health plans
- Analyze emerging trends and pharmacy spending, advocating for rates with state regulators
- Provide oversight to the centralized pharmacy utilization management team and ensure compliance with NCQA guidelines
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience as a pharmacist, including 5 years in healthcare delivery
- Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience
- Active and unrestricted Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) license in applicable state(s)
- Proficiency in data compilation, report creation, and effective presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
