Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a remote pharmacy team, the full-time Specialty Pharmacy Technician will manage medication history, coordinate specialty medications, and assist with patient assistance programs while navigating multiple virtual platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform medication history, procurement, and inventory management
• Manage specialty medications through prior authorizations and financial assistance coordination
• Coordinate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams

Required qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician credential from the National Healthcare Association or the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• 1+ year experience in patient assistance programs, grants, or foundations is highly desired
• 1+ year experience in prior authorization, pharmacy benefit management, or financial assistance is highly desired
