Pharmacy Technician License Required

Job Summary

To support prescription refill processes, the full-time Pharmacy Technician will manage outbound calls to physician offices for verbal authorizations while working remotely and ensuring timely patient care compliance; a Pharmacy Technician License is required.

Key responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to physician offices to obtain verbal authorization for prescription refill renewals
• Follow up on previous outreach attempts that have not received a response
• Accurately document prescription refill outreach and related information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician License or Certification preferred
• 1+ years of pharmacy, PBM, prior authorization, or healthcare experience
• 1+ years of call center experience in a high-volume environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
