Pharmacy Technician License Required

Job Summary

To support patient care continuity, the full-time Pharmacy Technician will manage outbound calls to physician offices for verbal authorization of prescription refills while working remotely and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards; a Pharmacy Technician License is required.

Key responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to obtain verbal authorization for prescription refill renewals
• Follow up on previous outreach attempts that have not received a response
• Document prescription refill outreach and related information accurately

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician License or Certification
• 1+ years of pharmacy, PBM, prior authorization, or healthcare experience
• 1+ years of call center experience
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
