Job Summary
To support a growing specialty pharmacy team, the full-time remote Reimbursement Specialist I will manage the processing of manufacturer copay assistance program reimbursements, ensure accurate patient billing information, and monitor claims activity for accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor claims activity for accuracy and successful submission
- Ensure patient billing information is correctly set up in pharmacy software
- Respond to inquiries regarding reimbursement and billing while collaborating with internal teams to resolve claim issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED; some college preferred
- CPhT certification preferred
- Pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in applicable states
- Experience with pharmacy, health plan, or clinical insurance claims billing preferred
- Commitment to compliance with legal and ethical standards
