Job Summary

Providing professional telephone assistance, the full-time Pharmacy Technician Licensed Representative will manage the Prior Authorization process, handling incoming calls and maintaining accurate documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Take incoming calls from members, providers, and pharmacies, offering courteous assistance throughout the Prior Authorization process
• Document approvals and denials accurately, transferring clinical questions and escalations to the pharmacist team as necessary
• Review and process Prior Authorization requests received through various channels while maintaining productivity in a high-volume environment

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume customer service or inbound call center environment
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Outlook
• Experience with documentation and data entry in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
