Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Reimbursement Specialist I will manage claims activity for accuracy and successful submission, ensure patient billing information is properly set up in pharmacy software, and assist in resolving billing inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor claims activity for accuracy and successful submission
- Ensure patient billing information is accurately set up in pharmacy software
- Respond to employee/patient/client inquiries regarding reimbursement and billing issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED; some college preferred
- CPhT preferred
- Pharmacy technician license or trainee license strongly preferred in applicable states
- Experience with pharmacy, health plan, or clinical insurance claims billing preferred
- Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
