Pharmacy Technician Team Lead

Job Summary

As a remote full-time Claims Specialist Team Lead, the successful candidate will manage denial research methods, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with billing requirements while working evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Train new employees and provide ongoing support and mentorship to promote a positive work environment
• Review variances and write-offs for accuracy, preparing reports and conducting monthly quality assessments on staff performance
• Stay updated on third-party billing requirements and assist in identifying financial risks related to non-compliant payers

Required qualifications

• High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of insurance billing experience, with specialized knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Commercial billing
• Understanding of revenue cycle functions within a pharmacy practice or equivalent setting
• Desired certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proficiency in MS Office products and basic computer systems
