Job Summary

To lead a team of claims specialists, the full-time remote Claims Specialist Team Lead will train new employees, provide mentorship, and ensure accurate billing processes while working evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Train new employees and provide ongoing support and mentorship to the team
• Review and approve variances and write-offs submitted by staff for accuracy
• Perform monthly quality assessments and identify training needs for staff improvement

Required qualifications

• High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of insurance billing experience
• Specialized understanding of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Commercial billing
• Understanding of revenue cycle functions within pharmacy practice or equivalent setting
• Desired: Pharmacy Technician certification
