PhD Artificial Intelligence Faculty

Job Summary

Supporting the growth of the Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence program, the full-time faculty member will teach doctoral-level courses, engage in curriculum development, and provide mentorship to students in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach doctoral-level courses in the PhD AI program, both online and in residency formats
• Engage in curriculum development and continuous program improvement while maintaining instructional excellence
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to doctoral students and participate in faculty meetings and program initiatives

Required qualifications

• Doctoral/PhD Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Computing, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of online teaching experience at the university level, specifically for doctoral-level courses
• 18 doctoral semester credit hours in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Science
• Preferred experience from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
• Proficiency in relevant topics such as Python Programming, R Programming, and Deep Learning
