Physical Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support advanced technology projects, the long-term contract Physical Design Engineer will develop and manage the implementation of multi-hierarchy low-power designs, including physical-aware logic synthesis and static timing analysis, in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own physical design implementation for low-power designs, including logic synthesis and verification
• Resolve design and flow issues, identifying solutions and driving execution
• Deliver physical design for end-to-end IP or integration of ASIC/SoC designs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant physical design experience
• Strong understanding of the RTL2GDSII flow and design tapeouts in 16nm/14nm or below process technologies
• Experience with low power implementation and knowledge of UPF/CPF
• Familiarity with EDA tools such as DC/Genus, ICC2/Innovus, Primetime, and Calibre
