Physical Security System Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time, fully remote Physical Security System Design Engineer, the successful candidate will develop customized technical solutions for clients, serve as a subject matter expert in physical security technology, and support project managers and systems designers in creating engineering drawings and conducting technical studies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review design and engineering drawing packages, including plans and diagrams
• Conduct technical studies and calculations related to physical security systems
• Assist in troubleshooting client and project issues while ensuring compliance with applicable standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of security system design and/or security technology experience
• 2+ years of experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD preferred
• Proficiency in Lenel security system hardware and programming required
• Associate degree or Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Navisworks
