Physician Advisor MD/DO

Job Summary

To support client facilities in navigating compliant revenue processes, the part-time salaried Physician Advisor MD/DO will review payor peer-to-peer cases, evaluate documentation for authorization requests, and engage with medical directors from the payor side in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Review cases for authorization denials, assessing documentation and clinical evaluations
• Engage with attending physicians and utilization review teams to discuss case determinations
• Provide written analyses and perform case reviews across multiple specialties

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical licensure
• Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency completion
• Strong clinical knowledge across multiple clinical areas
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
