Physics Faculty

Job Summary

To support the educational mission of a public, nonprofit institution, the full-time remote Physics Faculty will focus on teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, participating in service activities, and engaging in scholarship and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver student-centered instruction and maintain communication regarding student progress and concerns
• Participate in departmental governance and faculty meetings, contributing to program development and institutional assessment
• Engage in professional development and scholarship activities, collaborating with peers and staying current with educational trends

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics; PhD preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant subject-matter work experience; online teaching experience preferred
• Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and Zoom
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and time management skills
