Pipeline Engineer
Job Summary
To support the reliable operation and evolution of a platform, the remote Pipeline Engineer will manage incident response, build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and provide technical guidance while balancing operational support with engineering tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the ITSM queue for incidents, outages, requests, and changes while troubleshooting complex platform and pipeline issues
- Build, maintain, and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deploying and testing new versions of tools and application base images
- Identify infrastructure improvements and lead automation efforts through agile sprints, focusing on stability, scalability, security, and availability
Required qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in a relevant field
- Active Secret security clearance
- Active Security+ certification (may be obtained before onboarding)
- Demonstrated experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevSecOps practices
