PKI Architect
Job Summary
To lead enterprise-wide Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), the full-time PKI Venafi Architect will architect, deploy, and optimize secure PKI environments while driving automation and governance across enterprise applications and cloud platforms in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise PKI architecture, including Root Certificate Authorities and Certificate Revocation Lists
- Administer and optimize the Venafi Trust Protection Platform, defining onboarding standards and architecting integrations with enterprise applications
- Architect and implement automated certificate provisioning and renewal solutions, driving enterprise adoption of certificate lifecycle automation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of Information Security experience with 5+ years in PKI architecture
- 5+ years of experience working with Venafi Trust Protection Platform
- Expertise in PKI, X.509 Certificates, TLS/SSL, and Certificate Lifecycle Management
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Python
