Job Summary
To ensure compliance with building codes, the fully remote Plans Reviewer (ICC Certified) will conduct thorough reviews of complex modular commercial and residential construction plans, specifications, and engineering data.
Key responsibilities
- Review complex plans, specifications, and engineering data for modular construction projects
- Determine compliance with building codes, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, and energy requirements
- Prepare plan review reports and assist clients with code interpretation and discrepancies in construction plans
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in building construction, code enforcement, or quality control audits
- International Code Council (ICC) certifications or ability to acquire them
- Knowledge of modular building construction methods and applicable building codes
- Understanding of structural engineering principles related to modular construction
- High school diploma or equivalent
