Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time salaried Platform Engineer will design, implement, and operate AWS infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and capable of scaling while collaborating closely with application engineers and the platform team.
Key responsibilities
- Build, operate, and evolve AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, and storage
- Maintain deployment pipelines and contribute to system reliability through capacity planning and incident response
- Ensure strong observability and secure configuration of AWS resources while identifying and addressing infrastructure risks
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience building and operating production infrastructure in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services (e.g., EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM)
- Understanding of containerized workloads and orchestration concepts
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience debugging production incidents involving networking, scaling, or service degradation
