Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to work remotely in a consultant role, responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable cloud platforms that enable client teams to deploy AI applications efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and secure AI infrastructure, including LLM serving and vector stores
- Advise on AI deployment patterns and operational best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Design and implement cloud architectures, build deployment pipelines, and ensure observability for incident response
Required Qualifications
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, vector databases, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
- Strong proficiency in one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline design
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and Linux/Unix administration fundamentals
