Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Platform Engineer to lead the infrastructure strategy and ensure the stability, security, and cost-efficiency of our AWS ecosystem while working remotely in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of AWS environments to ensure peak performance and 99.9% availability
- Monitor and optimize cloud spend while maintaining security protocols and governance
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and support automated testing tools to ensure reliable code releases
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with AWS, including designing failover architectures
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Linux servers
- Experience managing deployment workflows and familiarity with automated testing frameworks
- Basic knowledge of PHP and JavaScript for troubleshooting within a Laravel/Vue environment
- Bonus: Experience with AWS Glue, Snowflake, or modern identity system migrations
