Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Working in a hybrid environment, the full-time Platform Engineer will design, build, and maintain the DTEX InTERCEPT platform, collaborating with a team to develop scalable solutions for insider risk challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize microservices for speed and scalability, ensuring robust performance of data pipelines
- Implement and manage containerization technologies, including Podman and Kubernetes, for efficient platform deployment
- Write high-quality Python code, focusing on testing, automation, and adherence to software engineering best practices
Required qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of software development experience
- In-depth experience with OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
- Proficiency in Python or another functional/OO language with a track record of impactful software delivery
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Django, PostgreSQL, or other SQL databases
