Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Joining the Platform team in a full-time remote capacity, the Platform Engineer will automate server lifecycles, build and maintain tooling for fleet interaction, and standardize software deployment processes while contributing to security initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Automate the server lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning
- Build and maintain tooling to ensure efficient interaction with the server fleet
- Execute security roadmap items, including access management and audit trails
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
- Hands-on bare metal experience with physical server provisioning and management
- Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals, including systemd and networking
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar
