Job Summary
Supporting a Department of War mission partner, the full-time remote Platform Engineer will configure, operate, and maintain cloud platforms in AWS and Microsoft Azure, focusing on infrastructure automation, application deployments, and platform security.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure to support mission applications and data services
- Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure as code and scripts for automation across environments
- Monitor platform health and troubleshoot incidents, coordinating with cybersecurity teams for security controls
Required qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments
- Working knowledge of Linux or Windows administration
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and source control workflows
