Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing infrastructure, the full-time Platform Engineer will design and operate scalable cloud systems on AWS, automate operational tasks, and enhance reliability while working remotely within the Americas or European timezones.
Key responsibilities
- Build and improve the platform infrastructure to enable engineers to deploy services quickly and safely
- Design scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, performance, and security
- Automate operational workflows and establish platform standards for consistent service deployment and operation
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform, or SRE roles
- Strong experience managing production infrastructure as code with tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure components
- Proficient in AWS and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, with availability to overlap with Americas working hours
