Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Compute team, the full-time Platform Engineer will design, build, and operate robust systems for project provisioning and scaling, ensuring high availability and performance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Supabase Cloud offering while managing multi-region compute workloads
- Own the full lifecycle of compute orchestration, including project creation and resource optimization
- Enhance automation and observability across the compute stack to improve system architecture and reduce costs
Required qualifications
- Strong software engineering skills in Go and Typescript
- 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
- 3+ years of experience with custom Kubernetes controllers and large-scale clusters
- Knowledge of networking and multi-region infrastructure design
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Pulumi
