Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning significant aspects of infrastructure, the full-time remote Platform Engineer L2 will design, deploy, and maintain services that support application developers, focusing on cloud architecture and developer tooling.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure using OpenTofu, ensuring fault tolerance and operational simplicity
- Manage the lifecycle of services, including design, deployment, production support, and ongoing improvements
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to facilitate safe and rapid application shipping
Required qualifications
- A few years of professional experience as a software, platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineer
- Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as OpenTofu or Terraform
- Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Python or Go, with a willingness to work in both languages
