Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-oriented, the fully remote Platform Engineer will manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, drive automation initiatives, and ensure security and compliance while collaborating with Development teams across the US, Australia, and France.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud environment for reliability, performance, and scalability
- Build automation tools and streamline infrastructure management and deployment processes
- Implement security best practices and monitor vulnerabilities to ensure compliance standards are met
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including deploying and managing cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including load balancing and firewalls
- Experience with monitoring tools, ideally Grafana
