Platform Engineer, AI Observability
Job Summary
Owning the shared LLM observability platform as a product, the full-time contract Platform Engineer, AI Observability will define capabilities, manage configurations, and evaluate upgrades while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Decide on platform features and maintain the tenancy model for organizations, projects, and environments
- Track upstream releases, configure new capabilities, and retire unused features to keep the platform current
- Assess additional or replacement backends, running proofs of concept and making evidence-based recommendations
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with observability or developer-tooling products, ideally including Langfuse
- Configuration and administration skills for self-hosted software at organization scale
- Understanding of telemetry data models and OpenTelemetry conventions
- Experience in technology evaluation and writing actionable recommendations
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps for configuration changes
