Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers in a full-time remote position, the Platform Engineering Manager will oversee infrastructure teams responsible for CI/CD and Kubernetes operations, driving platform efficiency and consolidation while ensuring compliance and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the engineering team, setting clear expectations and facilitating performance management
- Drive operational efficiency and platform consolidation, coordinating with service-owning teams to retire legacy systems
- Ensure reliability and compliance, managing incident response and collaborating with security on regulatory controls
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing engineers in platform, infrastructure, or developer-productivity teams
- Proven ability to lead senior and staff-level engineers and set direction in technical environments
- Strong technical judgment in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and CI/CD processes
- Experience with cross-team platform migrations and managing dependencies while communicating risks effectively
- Background in production reliability, including on-call health and incident response management
