Platform Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a globally distributed team, the full-time Platform Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on GCP and AWS while utilizing Infrastructure as Code practices and AI-assisted tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple regions and environments
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Spacelift, implementing networking and security components
- Develop observability solutions with Grafana Cloud and Prometheus, creating dashboards and alerting rules for platform components
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, particularly Python, Bash, and Go
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting in production environments
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, VPC networking, and IAM
