Platform Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting and modernizing enterprise platforms, the long-term contract Platform Operations and Tooling Engineer will design and maintain CI/CD capabilities, automate workflows, and partner with cross-functional teams, working in a hybrid environment in Arlington, VA or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise CI/CD capabilities using tools like TeamCity and GitHub Actions
- Develop reusable automation workflows and maintain cloud-based build infrastructure
- Partner with development teams to troubleshoot complex deployment issues and improve platform reliability
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in platform operations and tooling
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems Technology or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD platforms like TeamCity and GitHub Actions
- AWS Cloud Certification or related industry certification
