Platform Tester

Job Summary

Owning the test strategy for platform components, the full-time Platform Tester will ensure the quality of back-end systems, services, and APIs in a remote setting by expanding automated coverage and collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own test planning and execution for platform components, defining coverage across various testing types to reduce release risk
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and services, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Validate platform behavior across interfaces and environments, including performance and scalability testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, particularly with integrated or platform-level systems
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks for API and integration testing
• Working knowledge of SQL and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing in containerized or cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
