Platform Validation Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the resilience and performance of networking platforms, the fully remote Senior Platform Validation Engineer will oversee system bring-up processes, maintain platform stability, and execute rigorous soak testing.
Key responsibilities
- Perform SONiC platform bring-up and ONIE installation/configuration and testing
- Design and maintain automated test suites for platform validation
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to debug and resolve platform issues
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with the SONiC platform and ONIE bootloaders
- Solid understanding of optical modules, CMIS standards, and port breakout configurations
- Proficiency in Python and C for building automated test suites
- Good knowledge of computer networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VRF)
- Working knowledge of Linux systems
