Plumbing Engineer III
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of plumbing systems for large-scale commercial projects, the full-time remote Plumbing Engineer III will manage plumbing system layouts, perform design calculations, and utilize Revit for construction documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of plumbing system layouts, including domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping systems
- Perform and review plumbing design calculations to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Oversee design schedules, deliverables, and project milestones to ensure timely and efficient execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of professional plumbing design experience for commercial or industrial projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Proficiency in Revit for plumbing system design and documentation
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, NFPA standards, and industry best practices
